L.E.A.D. Mentoring Program
The Rattler’s Success Center’s Leadership Empowers Aspiring Determination (L.E.A.D.) Mentoring Program was created to support incoming first-year students into their second year at St. Mary’s University with an added support system that will increase the student’s social, psychological and academic capital. The program provides students (mentor and mentee) an opportunity to develop their leadership and relationship-building skills. The program is funded by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Accelerating Student Success Program grant funding.
The process is simple:
* Login above with your existing ID
* Complete the registration form
* If mentee, browse and select a mentor
* If mentor, wait to receive a request
* Mentor approves/declines requests
* Once matched, send message
* Read the mentoring resources
* Follow the mentoring checklist
* Take notes in your journal
* Define goals and tasks
* Join the community
